ER316LSi is a filler metal that is mainly used for welding low carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic alloys. This alloy contains a low carbon content of a maximum 0.03%, which allows for a reduced likelihood of intergranular carbide precipitation without the use of stabilizers.
